It's time to plan your application!

Embarking on the journey to Oxbridge entails meticulous planning and preparation. Let's delve into a comprehensive timeline, starting from March of the application year, leading up to the submission of your UCAS application in October.


March - April: Lay the Foundation

- Research additional entry requirements: Some courses require admissions tests such as the LNAT, TSA, or MAT. Start familiarizing yourself with the test format and practicing sample questions.


May-July: Refine Your Focus

- Seek Guidance: Reach out to teachers, mentors, or educational consultants for advice on crafting a competitive application.

- Attend Open Days: Take advantage of virtual or in-person open days to gain insight into campus life, facilities, and support services.

- Discuss your plans with your teachers, and ask for letters of recommendation. This will provide them with ample time to craft compelling endorsements of your abilities and give you advice you implement.

- Draft Personal Statement: Begin drafting your personal statement, emphasizing your academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and passion for your chosen field.


August: Hone Your Application

September: Finalize
